I visited the waterfall on 6/25/2023, but luckily I wore long pants and didn't get bit or stung by anything. Hope your ankle is recovering! I had loppers and a hand saw when I went expecting debris and overgrowth, so I went full bushwhack for awhile to stay dry. I got tired of that real fast though ...
