Wow Nate that all is extremely impressive and what a goldmine of future hiking ideas you've posted. By any chance do you have recordings of some of those tracks? I'm going overseas before long but might like to explore some of those areas after I get back.

I had estimated this week driving to work that the snow line was at about 5200' after this last storm. That seems to about check out with your photos?

The family and I went to Trail Canyon falls on Sunday, (we had never been), and were in T-shirts and shorts!

Oh cool great to see someone else exploring this rad little area! I did the Pico Canyon section with my family a few weeks earlier, giving me a chance to get a visual on the ridge.

Here's one from Sunday just north of Dayton Canyon. Breezy and beautiful.

Only a rough use trail to this waterfall in the Chatsworth Formation.

Wow, its been rainy down in SoCal. I love some good post-storm erosion exploration; this looks like fun. Could I see ya'lls route on a map by chance? I can't tell if you were just along Shoemaker road the whole time or not.

The High Sierra is awesome and all, but I always feel intrigued by all the surrounding 'lower' peaks that are still so rugged and oak-adorned like this one.
