I think I want to get a "Long live John Bradford Camp and Al Borak" tattoo.

Or maybe a bumper sticker for my loppers: "These brush warfare loppers have been gang-stalked by mountain lions at Brown's Flat."

Great idea for an expedition, and your trip report covers it all very well!!! I had an excellent time.

A few bits to add:

• on the uphill gain portions of the Sunset Ridge Road route in, I tried for the first time a new bike-packing strategy of lashing my overnight pack onto the bike seat, and ...

Invite to Towsley Canyon waterfall expedition

I've lead expeditions for each of my birthdays in and around Towsley Canyon the last two years on the north side of the Santa Susanna mountains, one of my favorite areas just outside Los Angeles. I would like to extend an invite to anyone up for this sort of partial bushwhack scramble, exploration ...

The silly idea I have in mind involves some normies tho ... ~1 mile with 400 feet of gain or whatever it is to hike to the spot would be doable, but not so much if starting from three points!!

The High Sierra is awesome and all, but I always feel intrigued by all the surrounding 'lower' peaks that are still so rugged and oak-adorned like this one.
