I have seen it in many historical photos. What did the "T" stand for? It appears to have been maintained for a few decades.

The issue with the San Gabriels is there is no one really in charge. No one has a vision for the range. Different areas are under different jurisdictions and funding is minimal. I used to use it regularly but the bottom section got eroded where the ropes are and got way too brushy. I now go down by the fire station and hike up canyon which is probably almost as quick with what shape the shortcut is in.

However...the second article dated 1/22 tries to set the record straight...but then causes additional confusion. There is clearly some disagreement between TPCC and the Gabrielino Indians as to the legitimacy ...
