Zach I know what you mean I didn't want to post anything but I've been praying ever since I've found out but if you do the logic thinking in your head it doesn't look good. She is a Baldy regular so I doubt she got lost. She most likely fell somewhere, I'm only hoping her fall was not fatal and she ...

Heard something that up to 600 people will be going for Baldy this coming Saturday and they are opening up the upper chair lift so people can in essence take the charlift all the way up to devil's backbone and summit from there. Any word on this?

For Shure, Mike we'll give them the Team Hypoxia Beat down!
Sorry to hear about that, that sucks hopefully the people will return it soon.
Did Baldy today didn't see anything or the summit register like you predicted it's already gone.

Missed the big Whitney climb this weekend because I couldn't get off work Friday and wasn't feeling to hot. So I settled for a quick 16 mile mtn bike ride on blackstar in the Santa Ana mountains. If you like fireroads right now black star is in good shape. No ruts at all. The owner of the property a...

Taking 5 Newbies to the top of Baldy
Yesterday Nov 7th I took 5 newbies to the top of Baldy. They have never been about 7K and have never summitted a mountain before. We started at Manker flats TH. We went up the fire road to the ski resort then on to Devils' Backbone. My friend Mary Ann was having a hard time so I took all her content...
