Re: Big Santa Anita Canyon East Fork
I read that some people have grown marijuana in this canyon. That sounds too close to a well used trail to be a secure location for that sort if activity. I dunno. I got all the way up to Adams Falls and didn't see anything sketchy, except for a suspicious pile of old black tubing at the beginning ...

Structure or mine in Eaton Canyon wash?
A few years ago, my brother and I noticed a trail of old wood posts leading down the face of a hill in the Eaton Canyon wash. These posts can easily be seen from the Eaton Canyon middle entrance, and lead to what appears to be a concrete and wood structure nestled behind a tree. A few days ago on a ...

Although it does appear that this particular description offers a route that doesn't require rappelling, if you w...

Re: Big Santa Anita Canyon East Fork
I went up that canyon last year: east-fork-big-santa-anita-creek-t6871.html Started from Chantry Flat, following the main Santa Anita canyon channel, then turned into the East Fork. I climbed up to the Clamshell Road in your circled area. I don't remember EXACTLY what the creek looked like, but I d...

Re: Big Santa Anita Canyon East Fork
Hello everyone, I am an experienced hiker and an relatively inexperienced bushwhacker trying to reach a location in the Santa Anita Canyon East Fork. East_Fork.png I am very new to this forum (and forums in general) so please let me know if I'm doing anything at all wrong or unusual. The spot circle...

As far as I know, this is the closest spot to get water for overnights at henninger. I stumbled upon the trail last february, thinking it was a shortcut to Idlehour trail. I rem...
