2016 I discovered the beauty of hwy. 33 and camping along the north fork of matilija creek. It was so awesome and I’m glad to have experienced it with friends and family. I've given the name and that it burned almost a year ago, more then I'd like to tell. Yes there's lots of activity outside the canyon, but in the times my sons and I have hiked it we've only run into one other person. I'd be happy to share the location with some. Just shoot me a message!

This is a little canyon hidden in the back country. It's changed a LOT over the last year between fire then crazy rain.
