I've never been on that trail. Looks nice. LPNF is always a nice escape from busy ANF.

Nice adventure. I've hiked the fire road but never the ridge. I prefer it over the main route as it's less crowded.

I've been spending a lot of time in this area, mostly hiking the PCT. Beautiful area with low traffic! I was on the PCT near Burn yesterday.

Does anyone know if the route from Dawson Saddle to Copter Ridge is open? It shows as open on the CalTopo map, but the forest order lists "PCT Dawson Saddle Trail" and "Dawson Saddle Trail" as closed.
