I’m hearing he was found in Bear Creek, not quite to the Bear Canyon Trail, west of Smith Mountain (southeast of Triplets).

Only thing I’d add is that in the most promising areas, the thorn bushes were extremely dense, so we could have been right on top of it and missed it. With basic analysis of available clues, including the accident report and maps, there are plenty of contradictions.

We got turned back on ACH at 4:28. We decided to stop for food in Wrightwood instead. We’re here now.
