Thanks for posting the Route. A few years ago I tried to find Allison gulch with no luck. I thought the route to descend below the bridge.
There was also lots if debris so I turned back.

I recommend the ridge route out n back. The other side of Mendenhall is overgrown with a couple of narrow sections and washouts.

Forgive me for the late post.
I found out Colin was missing while hiking Mt Baldy yesterday. My friend and I searched for his car and also checked out Ice House trailhead.
I'm relieved his car was found and hope that the outcome is a positive one.

How did you manage drinking beer then hiking the next day? I would be hung over ?
Definitely alot of pubs to visit.
Did you try any beers that you never tasted before?

I really enjoyed this peak! Getting there was easy. Thanks to the guys for clearing the trail. The hard part was the steep climb on the return.
