tekewin wrote: Great job on Langley. The views in your photos are awesome. Even if the BM doesn't say Langley, it still says 14042, which is cooler anyway.

Thanks! It was an awesome climb and very cool!

Mt. Langley 14042' the easy 14er, so they say

Sean and I camped out at Horseshoe Meadows on Saturday evening to bag Mt. Langley and started our journey at 4am on Sunday. https://eispiraten.com/images-archived/gallery.myff.org/gallery/2003960/DSC05652.JPG We hiked up to the junction of New Army Pass Split and continued on to the Cottonwood Lakes...

Nice TR and pics. When we went up there cascade canyon was one big mess! Sounds like it still is but I didn't see any berries! Glad you made it to Turtles Beak.

4 PEAKS: MILLER, SAN J, JEAN & CORNELL in San Jacinto

On Saturday morning, the original plan was to hike up to Taquitz Pk and to rack up some miles, However the Rangers warned us of a sand storm and closed the trail leading to the Peak. The alternative was to bag some nearby peaks including San Jacinto the easy way. We headed towards Round valley https...

Dragon's Back to Arlington, Cathedral & La Cumbre Peaks.

I heard about a really cool hike called the "Dragon's back" trail in the Santa Barbara area, that involved some awesome rock climbing up a steep ridge that resembled the humps of a Dragon's spine. https://eispiraten.com/images-archived/gallery.myff.org/gallery/1989685/20160612_165836.jpg S...
