Just wondering if anyone has explored the portion of the creek that runs below Hermit Falls, near Chantry Flats? While I've seen many reports from ABOVE Hermit Falls-I'm most interested in the portion between Hermit Falls and the Reservoir/dam.

Has anyone hiked the public (not through Vulcan mining quarry/shuttle service) route to Fish Canyon recently? What can you tell me about the quality of the trail? Is it still overgrown with poison oak?
