A plane down in the Angeles Forest?
A biker on Ken Burton today told me a plane went down and they are looking for it. There was a lot of police with their sirens on up on the Angeles Crest Highway. There were Sheriffs up at the Ken Burton junction looking around using what looked like some weird radar equipment i'm not kidding.

I just did it today on foot dang the steepness of that trail wears your legs and feet out after the long trek up Brown Mountain road.

It's now open up to where Ken Burton connects to it but not beyond it (north).

Wow I thought climbing above dawn mine to see the upper entrance was crazy..These people really deserve anything that happens to them.

Hi cougarmagic I did see some suspicious tracks and poop yes but I also saw deer there. Awhile back like last year I saw a deer carcass all torn apart by something either coyotes or a cougar.

Hi I've hiked from Switzers through to Gould Mesa and the CCC Ridge Road via Angeles Crest Highway down to Oakwilde recently and everything is in terrible shape. The remains of the Oakwilde campground are extremely difficult to find and now are basically an archeological dig :cry: with just the top ...
