The misplaced "Muir Peak" label is an annoying error from the USGS map. I think the error occurred on the '95 version, but don't quote me on that. It's been awhile since I did the research. So the "MapBuilder Topo" layer comes "from a variety of sources, including USGS data...

Got it! So Gotchy's cabin was actually right on Mount Muir! So the cabin I visited wasn't that cabin and was probably another in the tract right? Right.
