It screams San Gabriels but I can't pinpoint even an area.

The only place in the San Gabriels that kind of looks like this is the southern side of Twin Peaks and this picture isn't Twin Peaks I'm almost 100% sure.

Cucamonga Canyon, looking north from the road above Sapphire Falls. That's Ontario Peak on the left.

No clue. I'm riffing off David's remark. Welcome to the forum! We also do planning, if you have other questions.

There is this guy who posts his hikes to super duper secret waterfalls /s on reddit and that picture was from his video. I believe Taco is also on Reddit and already knew where this was but didn't state it publicly. I found it funny that someone came here and asked us.

Oh I didn’t see it on reddit but someone showed it to me. As a canyoneer, I got super excited as I didn’t initially recognize it. I had narrowed it down to two areas, and this was one of them. I was hoping it wasn’t that because Brennan already documented a descent there and didn’t look super appealing. Brennen’s report on the “middle” section has that waterfall he hiked up to. The “upper” or full route from the top looks like it’s better in two days, or one long ass day.

First descents are still here closer to home, just take a lot more effort. Clark Gulch for example was brutal, but loved being in such a pristine place.

Yup, there’s a dude on there with a dramatic video where his buddy gets hurt going to a secret waterfall and stuff. I think it’s the middle of Cucamonga canyon or thereabouts.

Left side is turtles beak, then Ontario, and Cucamonga would be on the right out of frame.

I am your god. Feed me.
