Saw a bunch of these cute Banana slugs creatures lurking around on the trails in Santa Barbara yesterday. At first I thought they were Witches Brew since there were multiple slugs lying still in the grass together until I saw there mantles popping out as they tried to move and hide.

That's a really bright yellow color, the only slugs I've seen are more brown. Maybe because that was up in Redwood NP area, different family.

Very cool. I was so freaked out as a kid the first time I saw those.
