a great day hike. 23.5 miles. 13 hrs inc. stoppage time. perfect weather - was the perfect time to go. only real heat was just above the river on the lower bright angel.

What a great hike. I've done the S Kaibab/Bright Angel dayhike but one of these days I'll do R2R....

i think the most dramatic scenery is in the first five miles down the north kaibab. it is all very impressive, but those first five miles - wow.
