Here's a pic from the Pickens Spur water tank looking east toward the Markham saddle.

What is that peak sitting in the middle of the saddle? Peak 4583?

To the left of Markham (the big flat-top one) you're looking into the ridge that has Occidental and Wilson. So it's the W edge of the Occidental ridge.

Huh. I thought Occidental would be behind Markham.

I think the angle is confusing people, I think that is Disappointment, that flat top is a dead give away.

Nah, Disappointment would be to the left of the saddle in this view. It's Occidental. The computer said so!

This. Occidental is hidden behind Markham. I think you're looking at the first hump along the west ridge route to Occidental.

Is that the route we took on a group hike a few years ago? Left a summit register container on Not-Ox peak?

Yes. We started from Eaton Saddle and stopped at the bump before Occidental because it was getting too hairy to continue that way. In hindsight I think we missed a turn somewhere.
