Walking tour of downtown L.A. on a fine Saturday. Union Station to L.A. Live and back with all sorts of stuff in between. About 8 or so miles.

Trail is in great shape! Beer available.

Cool mural (at least 5 stories tall, can't remember specifics)...

Jim-san,

Those are called Omikuji, a kind of fortune cookie thingy without a cookie. :D After you draw one, hang it on the rack (sometimes tree branches, fences, etc.).

Thanks for the explanation Yamaya. I didn't know what they were either. The rack is in front of the Koyasan Buddhist Temple in Little Tokyo.
