I have some pictures but it's on film.


I saw a few of the slopes but I was low on water and not to mention experience so I didn't want to risk it.

I will head back there early next week or so and try again.

Went up Falling Rocks Canyon today for the first time.

Managed to get up to a waterfall but had no idea where to go to get to Sugarloaf so I headed back down.

Anyone heading up there anytime soon?

I have never been and would love to the chance to tag along.

They were taken on Mt. Baldy about a month ago.

I use film because my classic SLRs are ridiculously durable in all conditions.

Heavier but worth it.

I have Spring break this week and plan on heading up to Baldy at around 5 am.

Anyone else plan on going up there?

I'd love to be there but I have class from 9 till 2:30 pm!

I grew up hiking Mt. Baldy but just started getting into mountaineering so that I can hike it in the winter as well.

I have crampons, helmet, ice axe, trekking poles (Craiglist prices!!) and would love to some advice, tips or info about mountaineering in general and meet ups.
